ZKTeco F22 Fingerprint Access Control Reader

ZKTeco F22 Fingerprint Access Control Reader

KES 10,000
Category: Biometrics & Access Control · In stock · Sold and installed by Qyvea Limited

A slim, standalone fingerprint reader for controlling a single door -- built for offices, shops and small buildings that need reliable biometric entry without a full networked access-control platform.

What the ZKTeco F22 is

The F22 is a standalone fingerprint access-control reader from ZKTeco, one of the most established biometric hardware brands used across Kenya. It stores up to 3,000 fingerprints on the device itself, and communicates over TCP/IP, RS485 or Wiegand -- so it can work alone on a single door, wired directly to an electric lock, or as a reader feeding into a larger networked access-control panel for a multi-door site.

Who the F22 is built for

Small offices

A single staff entrance that needs biometric control without a full multi-door system.

Shops & retail units

Controls a back office, stockroom or staff-only door.

Server / IT rooms

A high-assurance door that shouldn't rely on a card that can be lost or shared.

Apartment or estate units

A single controlled door within a larger residential access-control setup.

Contractors & installers

A dependable, well-documented reader to specify into a client's project.

DIY / self-installers

Buy the unit alone and wire it in yourself, or hire your own electrician.

Product, installation, maintenance and support

The F22 is one part of a bigger picture -- here's how it connects to the rest of what Qyvea offers.

Installing the F22

The F22 can be installed two ways: as a supply-only unit for your own electrician, or as part of a Qyvea installation covering the reader, wiring, an electric lock if needed, and enrollment of authorized fingerprints. See Biometric Access Control for the full installation service, or Access Control Installation for a broader project overview.

Maintenance & support

A fingerprint reader occasionally needs sensor cleaning, a firmware check, or troubleshooting if it stops recognizing a registered print. Qyvea offers ongoing access control maintenance, whether the F22 was installed by us or by someone else, plus self-help guidance on our troubleshooting page.

ZKTeco F22 questions

What is the ZKTeco F22 used for?

The ZKTeco F22 is a standalone fingerprint reader used to control a single door -- it grants entry to enrolled fingerprints and can trigger an electric lock or strike, with an RS485/Wiegand/TCP-IP output for wiring into a controller or standalone use.

How many fingerprints can the ZKTeco F22 store?

The F22 has a 3,000-fingerprint capacity, which comfortably covers a single office, shop or small building's staff and authorized users.

Does Qyvea install the F22, or only sell it?

Both. You can buy the F22 alone from our store for self-installation or your own technician, or have Qyvea supply and install it as part of a full door access control setup.

Can the ZKTeco F22 be used for time attendance as well as access control?

The F22 is an access-control reader rather than a dedicated attendance terminal. For clock-in/clock-out reporting, ZKTeco's attendance-specific terminals (like the K40 or K50) are the better fit -- see our time attendance systems page.

What does ZKTeco F22 installation cost in Kenya?

Installation cost depends on the door, existing wiring and whether an electric lock also needs fitting. Qyvea provides a free site assessment and itemised quote alongside the unit price.
