Thousands on the floor, every minute counts. A biometric attendance system (also called a fingerprint attendance machine or time attendance system) records who arrived, and when, with their own finger or face. For garment and EPZ factories, that means accurate hours for every worker, and records ready for audits.
Key takeaways

07Frequently asked questions
Can it support audits?
Reports show hours and overtime in a form auditors can review.
Can it handle thousands of workers?
Yes, with enough terminals and the right server. We plan this on the survey.
What about fingerprints that wear down?
Face recognition or cards give a second method.
Do you deliver outside Nairobi?
Yes. We deliver countrywide and survey Nairobi and the surrounding counties for free.
What is a time attendance system?
It is a terminal at the door plus software. Staff scan a finger, face or card, the terminal records who arrived and when, and the software totals hours, lateness and overtime for payroll.
Can a terminal stop buddy punching?
Yes. A finger or face belongs to one person, so nobody can clock in for a friend the way they can with a card, a PIN or a paper register.
How long does installation take?
One terminal is usually a few hours: mount, power, network, enrol staff and test. Larger sites take longer.
