Cameras drift out of focus, high-rack coverage develops blind spots, dust builds up, and retention quietly drops. Qyvea services and repairs warehouse CCTV so the coverage you paid for is actually there.
High-rack. Loading bays. Cold storage. Covered.
High-Rack Aisles · Loading Bays · Dispatch · Cold Stores
Warehouse environments punish cameras in ways offices don't. High-rack aisles need cameras positioned to see pallet labels and picking activity — but racking gets reconfigured, aisles get wider, new lanes get added. Loading bays see constant dust and vehicle exhaust. Cold stores condense moisture on lenses and housings. Forklifts vibrate camera mounts. And the same CCTV that catches stock shrinkage and dispatch errors is the one that has to actually be watching when you need to check a claim.
Warehouse CCTV servicing typically covers:
If your warehouse CCTV was installed by another provider — common in Kenya — we assess it on its own merits and tell you plainly what we can do.
The faults we're most often called to handle in warehouses.
Racking reconfigured since the cameras were positioned — a system that used to cover every aisle now misses several.
Dust, vibration or PoE voltage drop causing intermittent disconnects — very common on loading bay and high-rack cameras.
High-resolution cameras and many feeds fill storage fast — footage overwriting before investigations complete.
Dust build-up, condensation in cold rooms, and lenses that need cleaning on a scheduled basis.
Night shift monitoring compromised — IR LEDs degraded or ambient lighting changed at loading docks.
Previous installer's credentials, or documentation gaps when warehouse management changes.
Scoped to your specific facility — this is the range of what a technician may inspect.
Depending on the warehouse situation.
For problems affecting specific cameras or the whole system right now.
For warehouses that want a scheduled inspection to keep coverage complete.
For facilities that need guaranteed coverage and fast fault response.
Warehouse CCTV is often added to over years as the facility grows — new aisles get new cameras, dispatch gets extra coverage, cold stores get their own system. Over time, nobody has the full picture of what was installed where, by whom, or how it all connects.
We assess the existing cameras, NVR / server, network, and coverage, then tell you plainly whether the system can be:
We can't promise every third-party system is repairable sight unseen — some equipment is genuinely past its useful life — but we assess before we conclude that.
What's happening, and what's critical for operations.
High-rack aisles, loading bays, dispatch, cold stores.
Cameras, cabling, power, NVR, network, retention.
Written findings — repair, upgrade or replace.
Work scheduled around shifts and loading windows.
Report + documentation for the facility file.
Restore existing cameras, NVR or cabling where that's practical — most warehouse faults are connection, power, focus or cleaning issues.
Replace the specific cameras, storage or NVR that has failed or is outdated, keeping usable cabling and mounts.
Recommended where equipment is obsolete, damaged beyond practical repair, or genuinely inadequate for current warehouse layout.
Warehouses with heavy forklift traffic, high dust, or cold storage usually need servicing every 6 months, sometimes quarterly for larger facilities. Retention and footage review for compliance also benefit from regular checks.
In most cases yes. We schedule servicing around shifts, loading windows, or overnight, and coordinate with warehouse managers so picking and dispatch aren't disrupted.
Camera focus can drift, especially in high-vibration environments. Racking gets moved, cameras get bumped, or the original positioning no longer matches the current racking layout. We re-aim and re-focus cameras as part of the service.
Yes. Cold storage cameras face condensation, ice build-up and lens frosting that standard cameras don't. We service these with the appropriate checks and cleaning for low-temperature environments.
In most cases yes, if the NVR and network can support the additional cameras and storage. We assess headroom before quoting — including PoE capacity and storage retention impact.
Yes. We service warehouses across Kenya, including logistics corridors in Mombasa, Athi River, Ruiru, Thika, Nakuru and Kisumu.
Tell us about your warehouse and the issue. We'll help figure out the right next step — repair, upgrade or a maintenance arrangement.
