Tripod, flap or swing barrier?
- Tripod turnstiles: the most affordable and robust; common at factories, schools, gyms and offices.
- Flap barriers: faster throughput and a more modern look for office lobbies and banks.
- Swing barriers: wider lanes for wheelchairs, trolleys and luggage, often installed beside tripods or flaps.
Each type can open with an RFID card, fingerprint, face recognition or QR code, and can log every entry for attendance. See access control systems.

Add a card or face reader to an existing turnstile, or a remote for the guard desk.

Installation
Prices above are for the equipment only. If you want it installed, Qyvea does a free site survey in Nairobi and gives an itemised quote covering cabling, mounting, configuration and labour, so you know the full cost before any work starts.
Turnstiles need a level concrete base, power and a data cable to each lane, so the site survey checks the floor and cable routes before anything is ordered.
