What changes the price of a 4-camera kit?
- Analogue (DVR) or IP (NVR): analogue HD kits are the most affordable; IP kits cost more but give sharper images and use a single network cable for power and video (PoE).
- Resolution: 2MP (1080p) is enough for general coverage; 4MP to 8MP helps you read faces and number plates from further away.
- Night vision: standard infrared gives black-and-white at night; ColorVu or smart hybrid light keeps colour after dark.
- Storage: a larger hard disk keeps more days of recording.
