Maglock or electric strike?

A maglock holds the door with magnetic force and releases when power is cut (fail-safe), which suits escape routes. An electric strike replaces the latch plate and can be fail-safe or fail-secure. See maglock vs electric strike.

Prices above are for the equipment only. If you want it installed, Qyvea does a free site survey in Nairobi and gives an itemised quote covering cabling, mounting, configuration and labour, so you know the full cost before any work starts.
