Solar Street Light: Wall Mount or Pole Mount?

By Qyvea Limited · Updated 20 October 2026 · 2 min read

Both mounting methods work. The best one depends on your site, budget and how much area you want to cover.

Wall mount

Cheaper and quicker. Good for gates, house walls and shop fronts. Limited by wall height and shade from the building itself.

Pole mount

Gives better height and coverage and lets you place the light away from walls and shade. Needs a concrete base or fixing. Our lights include a pole and bracket.

Ready to light up your place?

In short: Wall mounts are cheaper, poles give better coverage and sun.
