Qyvea Limited installs industrial electric fencing for factories across Kenya — food processing, plastics, packaging, textiles, metal fabrication, milling and assembly plants. Factory perimeters are usually the longest fence installations we do, and they combine three things that a residential fence does not have to handle: length, multiple vehicle gates and integration with a 24/7 security operation.
Hundreds of metres of wall. Energiser sizing and voltage along the fence become critical.
Goods-in, goods-out, staff gate, contractor gate — each needs its own break switch.
Coverage across production, warehouse, admin and utility areas, all on one perimeter.
Roads, service lanes and shared industrial-zone walls need specific safety treatment.
Fence status shown in the factory control room or security room, not just at the energiser.
The site runs shifts continuously. Arming, disarming and fault response fit that rhythm.

Section by section. Production and gates remain functional throughout.
Control room trained. Documentation handed to security and management.
Factory perimeters are longer, usually have multiple gates and multiple buildings, and often run along public roads or shared industrial-zone boundaries. The design needs larger energisers, multiple zones and integration with the factory's CCTV, access control and gate systems.
Yes. Each vehicle gate has a break switch so the gate opens without breaking the fence circuit. Where the factory has an automated gate, the break switch integrates with the gate controller.
The fence monitor can be integrated with the factory's CCTV or alarm system. Zone status and alarms are shown in the control room, so security sees which part of the perimeter has been touched, in real time.
Yes. Industrial fences are on a scheduled maintenance cycle because of the length, the number of gates and the vegetation that tends to grow along long perimeters. Quarterly servicing is common for larger sites.
Cost depends on perimeter length, number of gates, number of zones, energiser size, integration requirements and whether new wall or post work is needed. Qyvea provides a free site survey and itemised quote per zone.
