Qyvea Limited installs commercial automatic gates across Kenya for offices, retail premises, warehouses, workshops and industrial sites. A business gate has different priorities from a home gate: it runs many more cycles, it has to fit the site's access control and intercom, and it has to be reliable enough that a fault during business hours does not stop the business. The Automatic Gate Installation page covers the process in detail.
Main entrance gate and staff gate. Access controlled by cards or codes, integrated with CCTV.
Customer entrance for vehicles, staff gate, delivery gate. Long opening hours and high cycle counts.
Goods-in and goods-out gates for HGVs. Heavy motors, wider gates, longer tracks. See CCTV for Warehouses.
Customer entrance gate and vehicle display area. Visual appearance matters as much as function.
Vehicle in/out gate, staff gate, customer parking. High cycle counts during work hours.
Heavy-duty gates for factories, plants and yards. See Electric Fence for Factories for perimeter.
Walk the site with management, note every gate, cycle count and integration point.
Gate type, motor sizing, access control, intercom and integration quoted itemised.
Scheduled outside business hours where practical. Gates remain functional throughout.
Reception or guardhouse trained. Documentation handed to the business.
Commercial premises typically use heavy sliding gates, cantilever gates or bi-folding gates. Sliding and cantilever gates suit wide entrances and heavy vehicle traffic; bi-folding gates open faster where the entrance is very wide or space is limited.
Yes. Qyvea integrates the gate with the site's existing access control, intercom and CCTV — resident staff cards or codes open the gate, and CCTV covers the gate area as part of the wider security system.
Deliveries and contractors can be issued temporary codes or cards with defined working hours. Reception or the guardhouse controls the release, and every entry is logged by the controller with a timestamp.
A manual release on the motor allows the gate to be opened by hand if the motor fails. Qyvea trains the site team on the manual release at handover and offers priority response for faults.
Cost depends on gate type and weight, cycle count per day, motor choice, integration requirements and whether new fabrication is needed. Qyvea provides a free site survey and itemised quote.
Both kinds of automatic gate in action: a sliding gate running along its track and a swing gate opening on its arms, each driven by its own motor.
Free site walk-through and itemised quote per gate.
