Solar & Backup Power Maintenance for Offices in Kenya

Offices don't punish equipment the way factories or warehouses do, but they still change constantly — desks move, partitions go up, IT contractors update networks, and office managers who knew the system's history move on without handing over the details. Qyvea services, diagnoses and repairs solar & backup power systems for offices, including systems installed by another company.

Inverters, batteries and changeover systems — checked before you need them.

Why Solar & Backup Power Needs Regular Servicing

Backup power fails silently. A battery loses capacity gradually with no visible symptom until the exact moment of a power cut, when your CCTV, gates and access control need it most. Scheduled checks catch this before it becomes an outage.

Solar & backup power servicing typically covers:

Inverter function testing
Battery charge and capacity testing
Changeover switch testing
Panel output measurement
Load assessment against connected systems
Written service reports

If your solar & backup power system was installed by another provider, we assess it on its own merits and tell you plainly what we can do.

Discuss a Contract

We Didn't Install It? That's Fine.

Properties change hands, contractors move on, and the original installer of your solar & backup power system may no longer be around. None of that means the system is beyond help.

We assess the existing equipment and configuration, then tell you plainly whether it can be:

Repaired as-is
Reconfigured
Upgraded in part
Partially replaced
Fully replaced, if that's genuinely the sensible option

We can't promise every third-party system is repairable sight unseen — some equipment is genuinely past its useful life — but we assess before we conclude that.

FAQ

Common questions about solar & backup power maintenance

How often should solar & backup power systems be serviced in a office?

Most office sites benefit from servicing every 6 to 12 months, depending on usage and exposure to the elements.

Can you service systems installed by another company?

In most cases yes — we assess the equipment and its condition first, then confirm what can be serviced or repaired.

Do you offer maintenance contracts for offices?

Yes. Maintenance contracts are scoped to the number of devices, sites, and required response times — contact us to discuss what a contract would cover.

What if the equipment can't be repaired?

We tell you plainly and quote for the specific replacement needed, rather than repeated repair attempts on something that genuinely needs replacing.

Do you provide a written report after servicing?

Yes — every scheduled service visit includes a written record of what was checked, found, and recommended.

Can you check whether our backup power can support our security systems specifically?

Yes — load assessment against your connected CCTV, gates and access control is part of what we check during a service visit.
