Solar Lights With Pole Included in Kenya: Why It Matters

By Qyvea Limited · Updated 20 October 2026 · 2 min read

A solar street light is useless without something to mount it on. Buying a light that comes with its pole and bracket saves money, time and arguments with the fundi. Here is why it matters.

Why the pole matters

The pole holds the light at the right height and angle so the panel catches the sun and the light covers the area. A badly matched pole can shade the panel, lean over or fail in wind.

What comes with ours

Every Qyvea solar street light comes with a mounting pole and bracket in the box, matched to the light. You still need a base or wall fixing, which is quoted with installation if you want it.

Total cost

A cheap light without a pole can end up costing more than one that includes it, once you buy a pole, get it cut and welded and pay for labour. Always compare the price with everything you need to put the light up.

In short: Buy a light with its pole and bracket included so you know the real total.
