An estate has many people with different needs: residents who want quick entry, visitors who must be checked, deliveries, domestic staff, contractors and children playing near the road. The guard at the gate has to manage all of that without becoming a bottleneck — or a weak point.
We plan estate guarding with your committee or property manager. The rules are agreed once — who is allowed in, what is recorded, what happens after hours — and then the guards follow them consistently. For the technology side, see our estate solutions.
Roles are separate: the gate guard stays on the gate while patrols cover the rest.
Opens and closes the gate, confirms visitors with residents and records every entry and exit.
A written or digital record of who came, for whom, at what time and in which vehicle.
Stickers or cards for resident vehicles and domestic staff so regular access is quick and checked.
Walked or driven routes that check the fence line, common areas and parking at set times.
Keeps visitors out of resident bays, directs vehicles and keeps entrances clear.
Every incident written up and passed to the committee or manager with what was done.
A guard with a clear view of the gate, a working barrier and an electric fence behind the wall covers far more than a guard alone. If your estate does not have these, we install them, so people and equipment are planned as one system.
We agree what the community wants and what it has to put up with.
Gates, boundary, blind spots and the written gate rules.
Posts, hours and duties in writing, then guards briefed on your rules.
Incident and log summaries for the committee, and a regular review.
It depends on how many gates are open, the size of the estate and the hours you cover. As a minimum, every gate that is open needs someone on it for every shift, plus patrol cover if the estate is large. We size it after walking the site.
Not at the same time. If the gate guard leaves the gate to patrol, the gate is unattended. That is why we separate the gate post from the patrol post.
We can review your current arrangement and recommend changes. If you prefer to keep your own guards, we can still supply the gate, camera and fence systems.
Visitor and delivery logs, vehicle entries, patrol check-ins and incident reports, in the format agreed with your committee.
Supervision is part of the proposal. We agree how often posts are checked and how the results are reported to you.
We will meet your committee or manager, walk the estate and send a written proposal.
