Large estates don't only have a security problem. They have a traffic problem. At peak hours residents, visitors, deliveries, school vehicles, taxis and contractors all arrive at once, and a queue backing onto the main road is itself a safety and security risk.
Traffic planning is part of Qyvea's estate operations design.
| Lane | How it works |
|---|---|
| Resident lane | ANPR or UHF tag opens the barrier without stopping |
| Visitor lane | Visitors stop by the gatehouse to be verified, without blocking residents |
| Exit lane | Exits never wait behind entries; plates logged on the way out |
| Pedestrian gate | Separate from vehicle lanes, with its own reader or intercom |
Often the biggest improvement isn't new equipment but a different layout: moving the visitor stop out of the resident lane, or letting pre-registered visitors through faster with digital visitor management.
Separate resident and visitor lanes, automate resident entry with ANPR or tags, and pre-register visitors so verification takes seconds.
Usually, within the space available. The assessment looks at what layout changes are possible.
Along the lane at a shallow angle, before the barrier, with space for the vehicle to slow down.
