CCTV Installed by Another Company? That's Fine.

The original installer may not be around anymore, or you're simply not happy with the support you're getting. We assess your existing system on its own merits and take it from there.

We Look at What You Actually Have

Every installation is different, and not every third-party system is compatible with every technician's assumptions. We start by inspecting your actual equipment, cabling and configuration, then tell you honestly what we can repair, reconfigure, upgrade, or need to replace.

What We Look At Before Any Work

The starting checklist for taking over support of an existing system.

Camera & Recorder Condition

Physical and functional condition of the existing hardware.

Existing Configuration

Network setup, storage settings and remote access configuration.

Admin Access

Confirming what access exists and recovering it where possible.

Known Faults

Whatever problems you're currently experiencing with the system.

Compatibility

Whether components can be repaired, upgraded, or need replacing.

Site Requirements

Whether the current setup still matches what the property actually needs.

Diagnose First, Then Fix

2

Diagnose

Remote diagnosis where possible, a site visit where it isn't.

3

Recommend

Repair, reconfigure, upgrade or replace — based on findings.

4

Repair & Test

Approved work carried out, then tested.

Common Questions

Do you need the original installer's cooperation to take this over?

No — we assess the system directly on-site. Original documentation helps but isn't required.

What if the system uses a brand your team doesn't normally install?

We assess it case by case — many common brands sold in Kenya are within scope, and we'll tell you plainly if something is not.

Will you criticize how it was originally installed?

Our job is to assess the current state and get it working reliably going forward, not to critique the original installer.

Can you take over ongoing maintenance after the initial repair?

Yes — many clients move to one of our maintenance contracts once we've assessed and repaired the existing system.

IP CCTV upgrade: before & after

IP CCTV System Upgrade: Before & After

Before: exposed, weathered cable joints and an old camera on a parapet. After: a tidy IP CCTV system with proper cabling and protected connections.

  • The 'before': exposed joints that fail in rain and sun
  • IP cameras on proper network cabling
  • Protected connections and a tidy, maintainable installation
