Enter your numbers above.

How it is calculated

Coverage = floor area / area one AP covers well (70 to 200 sq m depending on walls) x floors. Capacity = devices / 30 per AP. The answer is the larger of the two. A Wi-Fi site survey gives the exact placement.

Results are estimates for planning. Real systems depend on site conditions; Qyvea surveys and quotes before installation.

Tips from our installers

  • Hotels usually need an AP every 2 to 3 rooms, or one per room in concrete buildings.
  • Use a managed switch with PoE and a business router.
  • Separate guest Wi-Fi from your office network.

Frequently asked questions

Is one strong router enough for an office?

For a small open space yes, but several access points give steadier coverage than one strong router.

How many devices per access point?

Around 25 to 30 active devices is a safe design number.

Do I need cables to each AP?

Yes, wiring each AP gives the best speed; mesh is a fallback.
