Questions
Solar street lights in Runda: your questions
Do you deliver solar street lights to Runda?
Yes. We deliver to Runda and across Nairobi County and the rest of Kenya. Delivery is free on home orders. Bulk and project deliveries are quoted with your quote.
Which size is best for gated estates in Runda?
Gated estates: a 2000W for the roads and a 3000W at the entrance and clubhouse. Send us a photo or the layout on WhatsApp and we will confirm the right mix.
Can Qyvea install solar street lights in Runda?
Yes. We install on poles and walls in Runda and can do a site survey first. The pole and bracket are in the box; cement, wall fixing and labour are quoted after we see the site.
Will the lights work during KPLC blackouts?
Yes. Each light has its own solar panel and battery and does not depend on the grid, so it stays lit when the power is out.
What does dim, then brighten on motion mean?
After dark the light glows at a low, battery-saving level. When its radar sensor detects a person or vehicle it jumps to full brightness, then settles back.
What do 1000W, 2000W and 3000W mean?
They are the model ratings. A bigger number means a larger LED array, solar panel and battery, so a wider, brighter light. It is not electricity drawn from the grid, because these lights draw none.
How do I pay?
