Quick answer
Campuses combine lecture halls, hostels, grounds and offices. A zoned PA gives each hall its own sound reinforcement, campus-wide announcements and bell schedules, outdoor horn speakers for events and a priority emergency alert that reaches every zone. Ceiling speakers suit halls; weatherproof horns suit outdoors.
