Qyvea Limited installs fire alarm systems for offices across Kenya — corporate HQs, co-working floors, bank branches, SACCO offices, insurance and law firms, and multi-tenant commercial buildings. Systems are designed around how the office is actually used: where people work, where they move, where they gather and how they would evacuate, so detection and alerting match the real risk rather than a generic layout.
Smoke detection across open-plan work areas, sized to ceiling height and airflow.
Smoke and heat detection along escape routes, with sounders and strobes at every level.
Detection in enclosed rooms where doors are often closed and occupancy is unpredictable.
Heat and aspirating detection for high-value equipment, integrated with BMS and suppression.
Heat detection rather than smoke, to avoid false alarms from cooking.
Manual call points at every exit and stairwell, positioned per evacuation design.
We map floors, escape routes, high-risk rooms and existing infrastructure.
Panel, zones, detectors, call points and alerting are itemised with compliance notes.
Scheduled around working hours where needed to avoid office disruption.
Testing, staff training, drills and compliance documentation handed over.
Most offices need smoke detection across open-plan floors, corridors and meeting rooms, manual call points at exits and stairwells, sounders and strobes for evacuation alerting, and a control panel sized to the number of zones. Qyvea designs the system after a free site visit so it matches the building, occupancy and statutory requirements.
Fire safety requirements in Kenya depend on the building's use, occupancy and county. In practice, most commercial offices are expected to have functioning fire detection and alarm systems, and are inspected under occupational safety and county fire regulations. Qyvea installs systems to meet these requirements and provides documentation for inspections.
Yes. Qyvea integrates fire alarm panels with access control so doors release automatically on alarm, and with CCTV so incidents are recorded. We also integrate with BMS for building-wide response.
Cost depends on floor area, number of detection zones, panel type (conventional vs addressable), call points, sounders and whether the building is new or retrofit. Qyvea provides a free site survey and itemised quote before any work begins.
