Smart gate motors let you open the gate from an app, see whether it is open or closed, and let visitors in when you are away. There are three ways to get there — a Wi-Fi motor, a SMART motor, or adding a GSM opener to the motor you already have.
Three ways to control your gate by phone
- Wi-Fi motor — the Hikvision DS-K3GL606WX-WB has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LAN built in: open, close and check status in the app from anywhere with internet.
- Centurion SMART motors — easier set-up and diagnostics; add remote access with a GSM or Wi-Fi module.
- GSM opener — a Centurion G-Speak opens any compatible motor with a missed call, no internet needed.

Frequently asked questions
Can I open my existing gate with my phone?
Yes — add a GSM opener to most motors, or replace the motor with a Wi-Fi model such as the Hikvision DS-K3GL606WX-WB.
Does a Wi-Fi gate motor need internet?
For control from anywhere, yes — Wi-Fi at the gate or LAN. Remotes keep working without internet. A GSM opener only needs mobile network.
Is it secure?
Access is limited to authorised app users or phone numbers, which you can remove at any time — often more secure than remotes that get lost.
