Install .NET Framework 4.0 or enable the older .NET feature if prompted. 2. Right-click Setup.exe and choose Run as administrator. 3. If it complains, try Properties > Compatibility and run it in Windows 8 compatibility mode. 4. Allow the program through Windows Defender Firewall for private networks. **Tip**: Test with one device and a few staff before you roll out to everyone. If Windows 11 gives trouble, a spare Windows 10 PC is a cheap, safe fix. ## Network checklist The software talks to the K40 Pro over TCP/IP, usually port 4370.
