Use individual assignment for exceptions such as a person on a different roster. Individual assignments can override the department. ## Keep the date range current An assignment with an end date of 31 December stops working on 1 January. Extend it, or choose a far end date for permanent staff. ## Recalculate After assigning, run Attendance > Calculate for the dates in question so reports show the new rules. The shift had been built but never assigned to that department.
