A biometric attendance machine is one kind of time attendance terminal. Others use cards or PINs. Do I need a computer? Many terminals show reports on their own screen. Software gives more detail. Is biometric attendance legal in Kenya? Yes, with care. In Kenya the Data Protection Act, 2019 treats biometric data as sensitive personal data, so tell staff why you collect it, store it securely and use it for attendance only. This is general information, not legal advice. How many staff can one terminal hold? Models hold from hundreds to several thousand fingerprints or faces. We pick the size from your headcount on the survey. ## Why customers choose Qyvea **Genuine brands**: Manufacturer warranty on what we sell, so you are not gambling on the box. **One team, start to finish**: The people who advise you also install and support it. **Fast answers**: WhatsApp replies usually within 30 minutes, and delivery within 24 hours in Nairobi. **Easy to buy**: Pay by M-Pesa, bank transfer or card.
