Installed costs reported from KES 105,000 to about 277,400 and savings of 50 to 80 per cent on water heating: the simple payback formula for your home. What happens to your security when the power goes off? Read on: it takes a few minutes and could save you a lot more than that. **In this guide you will see:** - Installed cost reported KES 105,000 to 277,400. - Savings claims 50 to 80 per cent (supplier figures). - Payback depends on your geyser bill. Quick answer Reported installed costs run from around KES 105,000 to 165,000 for the unit and up to about KES 277,400 for a full family installation. Suppliers claim 50 to 80 per cent savings on water-heating electricity, and estimates of payback range from 2 to 5 years. Your own geyser spend decides it: payback equals cost divided by annual savings.
