We define each post — what the guard watches, who they let in, what they record and who they call — before the first shift, then supervise it. #### Static guarding Gates, receptions, entrances and stores, day or night. #### Mobile patrols Routes and check-in points across a large site or several sites. #### Reception & access control Visitor logging and vehicle checks at the entrance. #### Night watch Overnight cover for premises that are empty after hours. #### Events & temporary Short-term teams for launches, functions and site activities. #### Construction sites Material and equipment protection through build-out. **What a post looks like:** written post orders · occurrence book · shift handover · supervisor checks · a number to call when something happens. K9 Units ## Dog & Handler Teams for Larger Sites A dog covers open ground fast, detects movement at night and is a visible deterrent. Every unit is a dog working with its own handler — never a dog left alone — and we deploy them alongside guards, not instead of them. #### Perimeter & yard patrol Fenced compounds, storage yards and open grounds. #### Warehouses & factories Overnight cover for stock, plant and loading areas. #### Construction sites Deterrence where materials and equipment are exposed. #### Visible deterrent A dog team at the gate changes how a site is approached. **Planned around people:** agreed zones, signage and access routes are set with you first, so staff and visitors are never put at risk. Private Escorts ## Secure Movement, Planned in Advance Good escort work is mostly preparation: the route, the timing, the arrival point and what happens if any of it changes. We plan it with you, brief the team and stay in contact throughout. #### Executive & VIP movement Discreet close support between office, home and meetings. #### Airport arrivals & transfers Meet-and-assist and onward escort to hotel, home or site. #### Investor & diaspora site visits Escorted visits to land, projects and properties — see our [diaspora services](https://qyvea.co.ke/diaspora). #### Events & delegations Movement and arrival management for groups and functions. **How we plan it:** route reconnaissance · timings and alternates · communication plan · a contact who stays reachable for the whole movement. Identifiable & Accountable ## In Uniform, On Radio, Traceable You should be able to tell at a glance who is on your premises and who they answer to. Our officers work in Qyvea uniform, carry identification and stay in radio contact with a supervisor. #### Branded uniform Qyvea colours, patch and cap badge — recognisable to your staff and visitors. #### Identification Every officer carries ID so they can be verified. #### Radio contact Posts and patrols stay connected to a supervisor. #### Records Occurrence book and shift reports for every post. Static guards are posted at one place — a gate, reception or building entrance — for an agreed shift. Mobile patrols visit several sites or a large site on a route and check in at set points. K9 units are a dog and its handler, used for patrol and deterrence on larger or open sites, usually alongside guards. Most sites use a mix, and we recommend one after assessing yours. How much do security guards, K9 units or escorts cost? It depends on the number of posts, the hours (day, night or 24/7), headcount, whether dogs are needed, and any equipment such as radios or vehicles. We don't publish a fixed price list because two sites are never the same — we visit, then send a written proposal. Can guards be combined with CCTV, alarms and access control? Yes — that is what we recommend. We already install CCTV, electric fencing, automatic gates, fire alarms and biometric access control, so guards, cameras and alarms can be planned together instead of by separate contractors who don't talk to each other. How will I know what my guards are doing? We agree the reporting with you before the first shift: the post orders (what the guard does and when), an occurrence book, and shift or incident reports sent by WhatsApp or email in the format you prefer. Supervisors check posts, and we review the arrangement with you periodically. Can I book a private escort for a single trip or event? Yes — for a one-off trip, an airport arrival, an event or a delegation, as well as ongoing arrangements. Send us the date, the route or venue and the number of people, and we will plan it and confirm the details in writing. Do you cover areas outside Nairobi? We are based in Westlands, Nairobi (delivery only, no walk-in pickup). Tell us where your site is and we will confirm coverage during the site assessment. Are the dogs safe around staff and visitors? Each dog works with its own handler, and dog deployments are planned around your site: agreed zones, signage and access routes, so that staff and visitors are not put at risk. We go through this with you before any dog is posted. ## Get a Security Proposal for Your Site Tell us where you are and what you need to protect. We will visit, assess and send a written proposal.
