What It Really Costs Daily payments are easy, but add them up before you choose. A generator needs fuel, noise and someone awake to start it. Read on: it takes a few minutes and could save you a lot more than that. **In this guide you will see:** - PAYG lowers the entry cost. - Total paid is usually higher than cash price. - Kits are small: lights, phone charging, TV. Quick answer Pay-as-you-go lets you start with a small deposit and pay daily or weekly by M-Pesa. Sun King, for example, lists plans of KSh 950 down then KSh 25 a day for 448 days on its basic kit. That is about KSh 12,000 over the term, so compare the total with the cash price and with what you could buy from a local supplier.
