Zones, background music and conference sound under one plan. Bad sound makes good speakers sound unprepared. Read on: it takes a few minutes and could save you a lot more than that. **In this guide you will see:** - Zone the lobby, restaurant, pool and conference rooms separately. - Conference rooms need clear speech, not just music. - Larger hotels should plan emergency announcements. Quick answer A hotel needs several sound jobs done well: quiet background music in the lobby and restaurant, clear speech in conference rooms and, in larger properties, announcements that can be heard everywhere in an emergency. A zoned 100V line system lets each area have its own source and volume, and one rack keeps maintenance simple. Large buildings often need announcements that can override the music in an emergency; the requirement depends on the building and local codes, so ask a designer. Can the system be controlled from reception? Yes. Zone volume and source selection can be put on a wall panel or a tablet at reception. Do hotels need music licences? Playing recorded music to guests can need licences from Kenya's music rights societies. Confirm with MCSK and KAMP-PRISK. ## Why customers choose Qyvea **Genuine brands**: Manufacturer warranty on what we sell, so you are not gambling on the box. **One team, start to finish**: The people who advise you also install and support it. **Fast answers**: WhatsApp replies usually within 30 minutes, and delivery within 24 hours in Nairobi. **Easy to buy**: Pay by M-Pesa, bank transfer or card.
