FAQ ## Hikvision Intercom Kit questions Can more indoor stations be added beyond the 2 included? Yes -- this kit ships with 2 indoor stations, but additional units can be added for larger apartment blocks with more individual units to cover. What does the master station do? It gives the caretaker or building management a central point for building-wide communication and can typically release the main door, separate from the individual unit indoor stations. Is this a video or audio-only intercom? It's a video intercom -- the door station includes a camera, so residents can see who's at the entrance before releasing the door, not just hear them. Does Qyvea install this kit, or only sell it? Both. Buy it alone for your own installer, or have Qyvea supply and install it as part of a full intercom project including cabling and configuration. What does intercom installation cost in Kenya? Cost depends on cable runs, the number of units and any additional indoor stations needed.
