Speakers that cope with sweat and noise, plus a headset mic for classes. Can everyone hear you, clearly, in every corner? Read on: it takes a few minutes and could save you a lot more than that. **In this guide you will see:** - Mount speakers high and spread them out. - A headset microphone leaves the instructor's hands free. - Choose speakers made for continuous use. Quick answer A gym needs speakers that stay clear over noisy equipment, a headset or handheld wireless microphone for classes and an amplifier or powered speakers with enough headroom. Mount speakers high so people and machines do not block them, and keep one volume control by the instructor. A headset leaves hands free for demonstrations, so most instructors prefer it. Can I use Bluetooth speakers in a gym? Small ones are fine for a corner, but a whole gym needs a proper amplifier and fixed speakers for even, reliable sound. Do gyms need a music licence? Playing recorded music in a business can need licences from Kenya's music rights societies.
