## Common Questions

How long will backup keep our security running?

It depends on the battery capacity and the load. Backup is sized for the runtime the estate specifies, for example through a typical evening outage.

Can solar run estate security on its own?

For many security loads, solar with batteries can carry most of the day-to-day demand, with the grid or a generator as backup. Sizing is done per site.

Do gate motors need separate backup?

Many gate motors have their own batteries, but the controller, barrier, readers and cameras at the gate also need backup.
