The card is disabled in the resident database straight away and a new one is issued. No locks need changing. Can staff access also track attendance? Yes. Biometric access for estate staff can also feed a time and attendance system. Is face recognition allowed? It can be used where appropriate, with the obligations of Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 in mind, including telling people and protecting the data.
