For diaspora owners ## Your property, watched while you are away Owning property in Kenya while living abroad means relying on other people to keep it safe, and often not knowing what is really happening. Empty houses, half-built homes and undeveloped plots are exactly what opportunists look for. We combine people and technology: guards on the property, cameras you can view from your phone, and an agreed rhythm of updates. When you visit, escorts can meet you at the airport and take you to your sites. See our wider [diaspora services](https://qyvea.co.ke/diaspora). What we can do ## Looking after property from a distance Choose the parts you need; they work best together. #### Guarded homes & rentals A guard on the property, with post orders and supervisor checks agreed in advance. #### Plot & land watch Patrols and checks on land that has no building to protect. #### Remote CCTV viewing Cameras you can watch from your phone. See our [home CCTV](https://qyvea.co.ke/cctv-for-homes-kenya). #### Agreed updates Photos or short reports at the times you choose, sent by the channel you prefer. #### Airport meet & arrival Meet-and-assist and onward escort when you land. #### Escorted site visits A planned day visiting your properties, with the route and timings agreed. When you visit ## Landing to site visit, planned When you fly in, the plan is ready: who meets you, where you go first and who you are seeing. We plan the movement in advance, as described on our [private escort services](https://qyvea.co.ke/private-escort-services-kenya) page, and brief your guards and site managers before you arrive. - Airport meet-and-assist - Escort between home, sites and meetings - One contact for the whole trip - Guards and site managers briefed before you arrive How it works ## Getting set up from abroad ### Tell us about the property What you own, where it is and what worries you. ### Site check & proposal We look at the property and propose guards, cameras and updates. ### Guards & cameras in place The update routine is agreed and starts. ### Review & visit planning Periodic reviews, and the plan for your next visit. What updates do you want? ## Agree how you will stay informed - **How often, and by which channel** — For example weekly, by WhatsApp or email. - **Photos or a short written report** — Or both. - **Who else receives them** — Family or an agent in Kenya. - **Who may let people onto the property** — A named list stops "a cousin sent me" surprises. - **What should trigger an immediate call** — A break-in, a stranger on the plot, damage. FAQ ## Common Questions Can you look after an empty house? Yes. A guard on the property, supervisor checks and cameras you can view remotely are the usual combination. We agree the details with you after a visit to the property. How will I know the guard is actually there? Through the updates you agree, supervisor checks that are reported to you, and camera viewing where cameras are installed. You decide how much evidence you want. Can you guard a plot with no building on it? Yes, patrols and periodic checks can cover land. What is right depends on the size and location of the plot, which we assess first. Can you meet me at the airport? Yes. Arrivals can be planned from the airport to your home, hotel or first site visit. See our [private escort services](https://qyvea.co.ke/private-escort-services-kenya). Can a relative in Kenya be the contact? Yes. You nominate who we speak to and who may authorise access, and we keep to that. ## Set up security for your property in Kenya Tell us about the property and where you are based.
