This is the list we use for butcheries. | Item | Why a butchery needs it | | --- | --- | | Price-computing scale | Shows weight, price and total together | | POS terminal | Records sales and credit | | Receipt printer | Receipts for customers and records | | Cash drawer | Cash safe and out of the way | | Wipeable keyboard cover | Keeps equipment clean around meat | | UPS | Protects the till and scale | ## Sizes to quote | Size | What to put in the quote | | --- | --- | | Single counter | Price-computing scale, terminal, receipt printer, drawer | | With cold room records | Add a back office computer for purchases | | Multi-counter | Per-counter sets and a shared item list | ## How we install it 1. **Visit and measure**: We stand at the cutting counter, mark where the scale sits in sight of the customer and where the till stays clean and dry. 2. **Choose the size**: Pick the small, medium or large bundle that matches the site, and add extras only where they earn their place. 3. **Cable, power and fit**: Equipment placed, cable run, UPS fitted so the POS survives a power cut. 4. **Set up and test**: Products, prices or ticket lines entered, then a full test with a real customer and a real receipt or ticket. 5. **Train and hand over**: The owner and staff run it themselves before we leave, and keep a one-page cheat sheet. ## Day-one checklist - Prices per kilo loaded for every cut - Scale calibrated and tested - Test sale and receipt printed - Credit customers entered - Owner sees the daily weight report ## Extras worth offering Offer these after the main bundle is agreed. Each one solves a problem the owner already has. - Second scale for the packing area - Label printer for packed meat - Customer display - Mobile money reconciliation ## Available now at Qyvea These are real products from the Qyvea store with live prices.
