If two people can clock in for one, your payroll is a guess. Read on: it takes a few minutes and could save you a lot more than that. **In this guide you will see:** - Casual loaders recorded daily - Drivers' arrival times visible - Payroll ready without a paper chase Quick answer Loaders, drivers and clerks on different clocks. A biometric attendance system (also called a fingerprint attendance machine or time attendance system) records who arrived, and when, with their own finger or face. For warehouses and logistics yards, that means casual loaders recorded daily, and drivers' arrival times visible. Without a reliable record, casual pay is argued daily and nobody can prove who loaded what shift. ## Step by step Staff arrive~at the terminalScan finger or face~one secondPunch recorded~name and timeReport ready~for payroll ## Where it goes **Tip**: Best spot: at the yard gate office. ## In stock now ## Get a free survey **When to call a professional**: We survey your site for free, quote in writing, then supply, install, configure and train your team. Reports can show daily hours so daily pay is accurate. Can it work outdoors? Choose a weather-rated terminal and shelter it. We advise on placement. Can it tag a driver to a vehicle? Terminals record people. Vehicle tracking is a separate system. Can it feed payroll? Yes. Reports export hours, lateness and overtime for your payroll team. Is biometric attendance legal in Kenya? Yes, with care. In Kenya the Data Protection Act, 2019 treats biometric data as sensitive personal data, so tell staff why you collect it, store it securely and use it for attendance only. This is general information, not legal advice. How many staff can one terminal hold? Models hold from hundreds to several thousand fingerprints or faces. We pick the size from your headcount on the survey. Can staff cheat it? A fingerprint or face belongs to one person, so nobody can clock in for a friend the way they can on paper. ## Why customers choose Qyvea **Genuine brands**: Manufacturer warranty on what we sell, so you are not gambling on the box. **One team, start to finish**: The people who advise you also install and support it. **Fast answers**: WhatsApp replies usually within 30 minutes, and delivery within 24 hours in Nairobi. **Easy to buy**: Pay by M-Pesa, bank transfer or card.
