Month end should not be an argument. Read on: it takes a few minutes and could save you a lot more than that. **In this guide you will see:** - Headcount of who is on site - Shifts recorded exactly - Records safe from loss Quick answer Know who is on site, always. A biometric attendance system (also called a fingerprint attendance machine or time attendance system) records who arrived, and when, with their own finger or face. For mines and quarries, that means headcount of who is on site, and shifts recorded exactly. [Photo: George Prentzas / Unsplash](https://unsplash.com/photos/SRFG7iwktDk) Why this matters now ## Each pay period on paper records is another one you cannot check. ### If you wait - Colleagues clocking in for each other - Payroll built from paper and guesses - Disputes with no proof either way ### What you get - The person's own finger or face is the check - Reports ready for payroll - Fewer arguments at month end [ZKTeco K40 Fingerprint Time](/products/zkteco-k40-fingerprint-time-attendance-terminal-67 "ZKTeco K40 Fingerprint Time Attendance Terminal")[ZKTeco Mifare Cards](/products/zkteco-mifare-cards-11310 "ZKTeco Mifare Cards") [Get my free quote on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/254113301244?text=Hi%20Qyvea%2C%20I%20read%20your%20guide%3A%20Biometric%20Attendance%20System%20for%20Mines%20and%20Quarries.%20I%20want%20biometric%20attendance%20sorted.%20Can%20you%20help%3F)Reply usually within 30 minutes. Yes, with battery or solar and mobile data. Is it rugged enough? Choose a rugged, weather-rated model and shelter it. Can it link to access control? Yes. Do you deliver outside Nairobi? Yes. We deliver countrywide and survey Nairobi and the surrounding counties for free. What is a time attendance system? It is a terminal at the door plus software. Staff scan a finger, face or card, the terminal records who arrived and when, and the software totals hours, lateness and overtime for payroll. Can a terminal stop buddy punching? Yes. A finger or face belongs to one person, so nobody can clock in for a friend the way they can with a card, a PIN or a paper register. How long does installation take? One terminal is usually a few hours: mount, power, network, enrol staff and test. Larger sites take longer. ## Why customers choose Qyvea **Genuine brands**: Manufacturer warranty on what we sell, so you are not gambling on the box. **One team, start to finish**: The people who advise you also install and support it. **Fast answers**: WhatsApp replies usually within 30 minutes, and delivery within 24 hours in Nairobi. **Easy to buy**: Pay by M-Pesa, bank transfer or card.
