Are you paying for hours nobody worked? Read on: it takes a few minutes and could save you a lot more than that. **In this guide you will see:** - Early starts recorded exactly - Seasonal workers enrolled quickly - Pay and output reports line up Quick answer Harvest and packing run on early starts. A biometric attendance system (also called a fingerprint attendance machine or time attendance system) records who arrived, and when, with their own finger or face. For flower farms, that means early starts recorded exactly, and seasonal workers enrolled quickly. Yes. Terminals with battery or solar and mobile data can report from remote sites. Can it work in cold rooms? Choose a terminal rated for the temperature, or place it outside the room. Can seasonal staff be added quickly? Yes. Enrolment takes a minute per person. Is biometric attendance legal in Kenya? Yes, with care. In Kenya the Data Protection Act, 2019 treats biometric data as sensitive personal data, so tell staff why you collect it, store it securely and use it for attendance only. This is general information, not legal advice. How many staff can one terminal hold? Models hold from hundreds to several thousand fingerprints or faces. We pick the size from your headcount on the survey. Can staff cheat it? A fingerprint or face belongs to one person, so nobody can clock in for a friend the way they can on paper. Can it feed payroll? Yes. Reports export hours, lateness and overtime for your payroll team. ## Why customers choose Qyvea **Genuine brands**: Manufacturer warranty on what we sell, so you are not gambling on the box. **One team, start to finish**: The people who advise you also install and support it. **Fast answers**: WhatsApp replies usually within 30 minutes, and delivery within 24 hours in Nairobi. **Easy to buy**: Pay by M-Pesa, bank transfer or card.
