Are you paying for hours nobody worked? Read on: it takes a few minutes and could save you a lot more than that. **In this guide you will see:** - Touch-free check-in with face or card - Early shifts recorded exactly - Allowances calculated from real hours Quick answer Clean production starts with accurate shifts. A biometric attendance system (also called a fingerprint attendance machine or time attendance system) records who arrived, and when, with their own finger or face. For dairy and food processing plants, that means touch-free check-in with face or card, and early shifts recorded exactly. [Photo: George Prentzas / Unsplash](https://unsplash.com/photos/SRFG7iwktDk) Why this matters now ## Each pay period on paper records is another one you cannot check. ### If you wait - Colleagues clocking in for each other - Payroll built from paper and guesses - Disputes with no proof either way ### What you get - The person's own finger or face is the check - Reports ready for payroll - Fewer arguments at month end [ZKTeco K40 Fingerprint Time](/products/zkteco-k40-fingerprint-time-attendance-terminal-67 "ZKTeco K40 Fingerprint Time Attendance Terminal")[ZKTeco Mifare Cards](/products/zkteco-mifare-cards-11310 "ZKTeco Mifare Cards") [Get my free quote on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/254113301244?text=Hi%20Qyvea%2C%20I%20read%20your%20guide%3A%20Biometric%20Attendance%20System%20for%20Dairy%20and%20Food%20Processing%20Plants.%20I%20want%20biometric%20attendance%20sorted.%20Can%20you%20help%3F)Reply usually within 30 minutes. If the early shift starts late, product waits. A touch-free terminal at the changing room records every start without breaking hygiene rules. ## Before and after #### On paper or a basic clock Early shifts before collection trucks arrive Hygiene rules mean fewer touches Shift allowances disputed #### With attendance terminals Touch-free check-in with face or card Early shifts recorded exactly Allowances calculated from real hours ## Where it goes **Tip**: Best spot: at the changing room entrance. ## In stock now ## Get a free survey **When to call a professional**: We survey your site for free, quote in writing, then supply, install, configure and train your team. Face recognition and contactless cards avoid touching a sensor. Can staff scan with gloves on? Face or card works with gloves; fingerprints do not. Does it work in cold or wet areas? Place it outside wet areas or choose a rated model. Can a terminal stop buddy punching? Yes. A finger or face belongs to one person, so nobody can clock in for a friend the way they can with a card, a PIN or a paper register. How long does installation take? One terminal is usually a few hours: mount, power, network, enrol staff and test. Larger sites take longer. Do you deliver outside Nairobi? Yes. We deliver countrywide and survey Nairobi and the surrounding counties for free. What is a time attendance system? It is a terminal at the door plus software. Staff scan a finger, face or card, the terminal records who arrived and when, and the software totals hours, lateness and overtime for payroll. ## Why customers choose Qyvea **Genuine brands**: Manufacturer warranty on what we sell, so you are not gambling on the box. **One team, start to finish**: The people who advise you also install and support it. **Fast answers**: WhatsApp replies usually within 30 minutes, and delivery within 24 hours in Nairobi. **Easy to buy**: Pay by M-Pesa, bank transfer or card.
