If two people can clock in for one, your payroll is a guess. Read on: it takes a few minutes and could save you a lot more than that. **In this guide you will see:** - Early starts recorded - Night allowances calculated - Owner sees the record in the morning Quick answer Early ovens need early hands. A biometric attendance system (also called a fingerprint attendance machine or time attendance system) records who arrived, and when, with their own finger or face. For bakeries and food production units, that means early starts recorded, and night allowances calculated. The owner needs to know the ovens were lit on time. A terminal records the start without a phone call. ## Before and after #### On paper or a basic clock Bakers start at night or early morning Shift pay is hard to verify Owner sleeps while the ovens run #### With attendance terminals Early starts recorded Night allowances calculated Owner sees the record in the morning ## Where it goes **Tip**: Best spot: at the staff entrance. ## In stock now ## Get a free survey **When to call a professional**: We survey your site for free, quote in writing, then supply, install, configure and train your team. Yes. Can it work with flour dust? Keep the terminal clean and covered. Face recognition or cards help. Can it cover several shops? Yes. How long does installation take? One terminal is usually a few hours: mount, power, network, enrol staff and test. Larger sites take longer. Do you deliver outside Nairobi? Yes. We deliver countrywide and survey Nairobi and the surrounding counties for free. What is a time attendance system? It is a terminal at the door plus software. Staff scan a finger, face or card, the terminal records who arrived and when, and the software totals hours, lateness and overtime for payroll. Can a terminal stop buddy punching? Yes. A finger or face belongs to one person, so nobody can clock in for a friend the way they can with a card, a PIN or a paper register. ## Why customers choose Qyvea **Genuine brands**: Manufacturer warranty on what we sell, so you are not gambling on the box. **One team, start to finish**: The people who advise you also install and support it. **Fast answers**: WhatsApp replies usually within 30 minutes, and delivery within 24 hours in Nairobi. **Easy to buy**: Pay by M-Pesa, bank transfer or card.
