Speakers, a subwoofer and enough amplifier power, without annoying the neighbours. Can everyone hear you, clearly, in every corner? Read on: it takes a few minutes and could save you a lot more than that. **In this guide you will see:** - Clarity first, then bass: full-range speakers plus a subwoofer. - Several smaller speakers beat two big ones. - Match amplifier power to the speakers. Quick answer A bar or lounge needs full-range speakers for clarity, a subwoofer for bass, an amplifier with enough power for peak volume and inputs for a DJ or mixer. Spread several smaller speakers around the room rather than two huge ones, so the sound is even without being painfully loud near the speakers, and plan for noise limits. It depends on the room and the speakers. As a rule, match the amplifier to the speakers' continuous (RMS) rating rather than the peak figure on the box, and ask for a site survey. Do I need a subwoofer? For music-led venues, yes: it carries the bass so the main speakers do not distort. For a quiet cocktail lounge, good full-range speakers may be enough. Is there a noise limit? Yes. Kenya has rules on excessive noise, enforced locally. Check with your county before choosing the system and keep the volume controllable. ## Why customers choose Qyvea **Genuine brands**: Manufacturer warranty on what we sell, so you are not gambling on the box. **One team, start to finish**: The people who advise you also install and support it. **Fast answers**: WhatsApp replies usually within 30 minutes, and delivery within 24 hours in Nairobi. **Easy to buy**: Pay by M-Pesa, bank transfer or card.
