Run by engineers. Qyvea was founded in Nairobi on 15 March 2022 by Elias Ngigi, a network engineer with more than ten years in security and IoT systems. The company is built on a simple idea: a security system is only as good as the way it is designed, installed and looked after, so we do all three properly. Today we cover security, IT and power under one company. One team plans the cameras, the network they run on and the backup power that keeps them recording through a blackout, so you deal with one contractor who is accountable for the whole system. - **2022**: Qyvea Limited founded in Nairobi. - **2025**: Founder completes the Hikvision Spark Program in CCTV, access control and video intercom. [View certificate โ†—](https://qyvea.co.ke/assets/certifications/hikvision-spark-program-elias-ngigi.pdf) - **2026**: Security, IT and power services under one company, with ongoing maintenance for the systems we install.
